Videography / Film Production / Direction

  • Scripted, directed, edited, and organized two separate film productions for branding and advertising materials

  • Handled all logistics including: hiring models and crew, identifying and reserving filming locations, sourcing unique furniture and props, and scheduling equipment transport

  • Established strong working relationships with camera crews who work in Milan for companies such as North Face, Doc Martens, Gucci, and Moretti

  • Formed and led team of experienced professionals to capture each shot

  • Finished final film products within tight schedule and budget

Film Production #1

  • Team of four cameramen, one makeup artist, two models, and myself as director

  • Filmed in Milan for use in print/packaging material, branded instagram ads, and other miscellaneous branding purposes

  • Aesthetics of the filming were consistent with my vision of the brand

Examples of Quick Cut Footage

  • Main purpose of footage was filming shots that could be used either as videos or still photos

  • Videos were quick-cut for Instagram ads and other online branding purposes

  • Goal was to be unique and intriguing, with the potential to get more engagement from people organically sharing

Color Correction

Film Production #2

  • Team of three cameramen, one goldsmith, one actor, and myself as director (two cameramen from the first production)

  • Filmed at jewelry atelier on Lake Como

  • Handled all planning, directing, scripting, and logistics

  • Goal for this filming was to capture the “behind the creation” of each ring and illustrate an emotional tale of craftsmanship and creativity

  • Intended uses for this production were heritage building of the brand, advertising materials, and website content

  • Ring product pictures were taken as well

Two Video Types

  • There are two different video types

  • One type has an Italian voice over describing the creation of the ring in an artistic, immersive way. In its entirety, the video is 15 minutes long and can be used either in short clips or for the full duration

  • The second type uses quick-cut clips with instrumentals

  • These two video types will be used in the same advertising campaign, analyzing which preforms better generating initial interest and which preforms better for retargeting

  • The voice over is versatile because of its ability to be subtitled in other languages

  • Compared to the first film production, this one is intended to drive sales and commercial interest in the product
